One sync covers one data source — a single ad account on a single board, including every entity type mapped on it. A daily schedule uses about 30 syncs a month, a weekly one about 4. Allowances reset on the 1st of each month, and billing runs through monday.com.
Frequently asked questions
What counts as one sync?
One data source run: a single ad account syncing to a single board, covering every entity type you've mapped on it. Two ad accounts on the same board are two syncs; one ad account on two boards is also two.
How many syncs will I actually use?
A data source on a daily schedule uses about 30 scheduled syncs a month; on a weekly schedule, about 4. Scheduled and on-demand allowances are counted separately, so pressing "Sync now" never eats into your scheduled runs.
What's the difference between scheduled and on-demand syncs?
Scheduled syncs run automatically on the interval you set. On-demand syncs are the ones you trigger yourself with "Sync now", plus historical backfills. Each plan includes the same number of both.
Does the Free plan sync anything?
No. Free lets you connect Google Ads and Meta Ads, pick your metrics and set up boards, but it includes no syncs. Choose a paid plan when you're ready for data to start flowing.
How many ad accounts can I connect?
As many as you like. Connections, ad accounts and boards are unlimited on every paid plan — your monthly sync allowance is the only limit.
What happens if I run out of syncs?
Syncing pauses until your allowance resets on the 1st of the month, or until you upgrade. Nothing is deleted — your boards, columns and existing data stay exactly as they are.
Can I change plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade through monday.com's billing. Changes take effect immediately, and your usage for the month carries across so a plan change never resets your allowance.
How does billing work?
All billing is handled through monday.com's native marketplace billing. Charges appear on your monday.com invoice. Yearly billing saves roughly 15% on every paid plan.
